حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا دَعَا جَعَلَ ظَاهِرَ كَفَّيْهِ مِمَّا يَلِي وَجْهَهُ وَبَاطِنَهُمَا مِمَّا يَلِي الْأَرْضَ
English Translation
Yazid informed us from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would supplicate, he would place the backs of his hands facing his face and the palms facing the ground.
