حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ شُمَيْطٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ الْحَنَفِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَسْأَلَةَ لَا تَحِلُّ إِلَّا لِثَلَاثَةٍ لِذِي فَقْرٍ مُدْقِعٍ أَوْ لِذِي غُرْمٍ مُفْظِعٍ أَوْ لِذِي دَمٍ مُوجِعٍ

English Translation

'Abd al-Samad narrated from 'Ubaydullah ibn Shumayt who said: I heard 'Abdullah al-Hanafi narrating that he heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'The supplication made between the adhan and the iqamah is not rejected.' They said: 'Then what should we say, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Ask Allah for well-being in this world and the Hereafter.'
