حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّ
مَ لِأُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَقْرَأَ عَلَيْكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قَالَ وَسَمَّانِي لَكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَبَكَى

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Qatadah narrating from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ubayy ibn Ka'b (رضي الله عنه): 'Indeed, Allah has commanded me to recite to you: "Lam yakun alladhina kafaru" (Surah al-Bayyinah).' Ubayy said: 'He named me specifically?' He said: 'Yes.' So Ubayy wept.
