حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّ

هِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَكَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ بِخَمْسِ مَكَاكِيَّ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ بِمَكُّوكٍ

English Translation

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated from Shu'bah, and Ibn Ja'far narrated from Shu'bah, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn Jabr who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) say: the Prophet ﷺ and one of his wives would bathe from a single vessel. In another narration: from a single container of water.
