حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ حَمَّا

دِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ مَا كَانَ شَخْصٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانُوا إِذَا رَأَوْهُ لَمْ يَقُومُوا لِمَا يَعْلَمُوا مِنْ كَرَاهِيَتِهِ لِذَلِكَ

English Translation
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Humayd, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'There was no person more beloved to them than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, yet when they saw him, they would not stand for him because they knew of his dislike for that.'
