حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُغِيرُ عِنْدَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ فَيَسْتَمِعُ فَإِذَا سَمِعَ أَذَانًا أَمْسَكَ وَإِلَّا أَغَارَ ق
َالَ فَتَسَمَّعَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ قَالَ فَسَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ خَرَجْتَ مِنْ النَّارِ

English Translation
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Thabit, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to launch raids at the break of dawn. He would listen, and if he heard the adhan, he would hold back; otherwise, he would attack.' He said: 'He listened one morning and heard a man saying: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Upon the fitrah (natural disposition). Then the man said: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You have been saved from the Fire.'
