‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏بَهْزٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ‏ ‏قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مُوسَى أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يُصَلِّي فِي أَيَّامِ الشِّتَاءِ وَمَا نَدْرِي مَا مَضَى مِنْ النَّهَارِ أَكْثَرُ أَوْ مَا بَقِيَ ‏

English Translation

Bahz narrated to us: Hammad — meaning Ibn Salamah — narrated to us, he said: Musa Abu al-'Ala' narrated to us from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray in the winter days, and we could not tell how much of the day had passed or how much remained.
