English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, he said: Ibn Shihab said: Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) informed me, he said: 'the Prophet ﷺ arrived in Madinah when it was afflicted with fever. The people fell ill with fever. the Prophet ﷺ entered upon Abu Talhah and said: What is the matter with Umm Sulaym? Has she taken ill? Abu Talhah said: She has fever. He said: Let her not think negatively of her illness, for the fever removes the sins of the believer just as the bellows removes the dross of iron.'
