English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: Jibril came to the Prophet ﷺ one day while he was sitting, saddened, his face stained with blood — some of the people of Makkah had struck him. He said: 'What is the matter with you?' He said: 'These people did such-and-such to me.' Jibril said: 'Do you want me to show you a sign?' He said: 'Yes.' He looked at a tree across the valley and said: 'Call that tree.' So he called it and it came walking until it stood before him. He said: 'Tell it to go back.' So he told it and it went back to its place. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'That is sufficient for me.'
