حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُبَارَكٌ الْخَيَّاطُ جَدُّ وَلَدِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ثُمَامَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ سَ
مِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَأَلَ عَنْ الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ أَنَّ الْمَاءَ الَّذِي يَكُونُ مِنْهُ الْوَلَدُ أَهْرَقْتَهُ عَلَى صَخْرَةٍ لَأَخْرَجَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْهَا أَوْ لَخَرَجَ مِنْهَا وَلَدٌ الشَّكُّ مِنْهُ وَلَيَخْلُقَنَّ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا هُوَ خَالِقُهَا

English Translation
Abu 'Asim narrated to us: Abu 'Amr Mubarak al-Khayyat, the grandfather of the son of 'Abbad ibn Kathir, informed us, he said: I asked Thumamah ibn 'Abdullah ibn Anas about coitus interruptus ('azl). He said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) say: 'A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked about 'azl. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Even if the fluid from which a child is created were poured on a rock, Allah would bring forth a child from it if He willed.'
