English Translation

Yunus and Surayj narrated to us, both saying: Fulayh narrated to us from Hilal ibn 'Ali, he said: Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was not one to insult, nor one to be vulgar, nor one to curse. When he was displeased with one of us, he would simply say: What is wrong with him? May his forehead be dusty (i.e., may he prostrate more).'
