English Translation
Yunus narrated to us: Hammad — meaning Ibn Zayd — narrated to us from Thabit, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the most handsome of people, the most generous of people, and the most courageous of people. The people of Madinah were once alarmed by a noise at night, and the people went toward the sound. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ met them, having already gone ahead to investigate the sound. He was riding bareback on a horse belonging to Abu Talhah (رضي الله عنه) with a sword around his neck. He said: Do not be afraid, do not be afraid.'
