حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الصَّيْقَلِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا نَ
صْرُخُ بِالْحَجِّ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَجْعَلَهَا عُمْرَةً قَالَ وَلَوْ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ لَجَعَلْتُهَا عُمْرَةً وَلَكِنْ سُقْتُ الْهَدْيَ وَقَرَنْتُ بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ

English Translation
Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Malik and Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, both saying: Zuhayr narrated to us from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Asma' al-Sayqal, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'We went out raising our voices declaring the Hajj. When we arrived in Makkah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us to make it an 'Umrah. He said: Had I known before what I know now, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal. But I have brought the sacrificial animal, so it is not lawful for me until it reaches its place of slaughter.'
