Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فَقَالَ النَّ
بِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْتَهُ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَأَخْبِرْهُ قَالَ فَلَقِيَهُ بَعْدُ فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ فِي اللَّهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَحَبَّكَ الَّذِي أَحْبَبْتَنِي لَهُ

English Translation
Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us: al-Mubarak narrated to us: Thabit al-Bunani narrated to us from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that a man said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'I love so-and-so.' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Have you told him?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Go tell him.' So he went to him and said: 'I love you for the sake of Allah.' He said: 'May the One for Whose sake you love me love you.'
