حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ أَبِي وَأَمْلَاهُ عَلَيْنَا يَعْنِي أَبَا دَاوُدَ مَعَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ فَقَالَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي ثَابِتٌ

قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

English Translation

Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us. My father said: Abu Dawud dictated this to us alongside 'Ali ibn al-Madini. He said: Shu'bah said: Thabit informed me, he said: I heard Anas (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his family, his wealth, and all the people.'
