Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم
Body (Matn)
َ مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ وَهُوَ يُهَادَى بَيْنَ ابْنَيْهِ قَالُوا نَذَرَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنْ تَعْذِيبِ هَذَا لِنَفْسِهِ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya narrated from Humayd, from Thabit, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was being supported between his two sons. They said he had vowed to walk. He said: 'Indeed Allah has no need for this man to torture himself,' and he ordered him to ride.
