Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ عَنْ صَلَاةِ النَّب
Body (Matn)
ِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِاللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ مَا كُنَّا نَشَاءُ أَنْ نَرَاهُ مُصَلِّيًا إِلَّا رَأَيْنَاهُ وَلَا نَائِمًا إِلَّا رَأَيْنَاهُ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya narrated from Humayd who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that anas (رضي الله عنه) was asked about the Prophet ﷺ's ﷺ night prayer. He said: 'We never wished to see him praying except that we saw him praying, nor sleeping except that we saw him sleeping.'
