Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ثَاب
ِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَتْ الصَّلَاةُ تُقَامُ فَيُكَلِّمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الرَّجُلَ فِي حَاجَتِهِ تَكُونُ لَهُ فَيَقُومُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَمَا يَزَالُ قَائِمًا يُكَلِّمُهُ فَرُبَّمَا رَأَيْتُ بَعْضَ الْقَوْمِ لَيَنْعَسُ مِنْ طُولِ قِيَامِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهُ

English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: The prayer would be called and the Prophet ﷺ would speak to a man about his need, standing between him and the qiblah, and he would not come to the prayer until the man's conversation was complete.
