Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقِيَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَبِهِ وَضَرٌ مِنْ خَلُوقٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَهْيَ
مْ يَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ قَالَ كَمْ أَصْدَقْتَهَا قَالَ وَزْنَ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ قَالَ أَنَسٌ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ قَسَمَ لِكُلِّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ مِائَةَ أَلْفِ دِينَارٍ

English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ met 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf (رضي الله عنه) and he had traces of khaluq (saffron-based perfume) on him. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: 'What is this?' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I married a woman for the weight of a date-stone of gold.' He said: 'May Allah bless you. Give a walimah (wedding feast), even if only with one sheep.'
