حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا س

َلَمَةُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ

English Translation

Waki' narrated to us, Salamah ibn Wardan narrated to us, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon on the pulpit, and the people leaned forward to hear him. He ascended the steps and the pulpit shook — or made a sound — so he placed his hand on it and it settled.
