حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ خَيَّاطًا دَعَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى طَعَامٍ فَأَتَاهُ بِطَعَامٍ وَقَدْ جَعَ
لَهُ بِإِهَالَةٍ سَنِخَةٍ وَقَرْعٍ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتْبَعُ الْقَرْعَ مِنْ الصَّحْفَةِ قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَمَا زِلْتُ يُعْجِبُنِي الْقَرْعُ مُنْذُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْجِبُهُ

English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, from Hammam, from Qatadah, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that a tailor invited the Prophet ﷺ to eat. He brought him food prepared with rancid fat and gourd. I saw the Prophet ﷺ picking out the pieces of gourd from around the plate. Anas said: I have continued to like gourd since that day.
