English Translation

Yahya narrated to us, Ibn Abi 'Arubah narrated to us, from Qatadah, that Anas (رضي الله عنه) narrated to them saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not raise his hands in any of his supplications — Yahya once said: in supplication — except in the prayer for rain, in which he would raise his hands until the whiteness of his armpits could be seen.
