English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Humayd, who said: Anas (رضي الله عنه) was asked: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ wear a ring?' He said: 'Yes. One night he delayed the 'Isha prayer until close to midnight, then he said: The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you have been in prayer as long as you have been waiting for it.' Anas said: It is as if I can see the gleam of his ring on the night he delayed the prayer.
