حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ قَالَ احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَج

َمَهُ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِصَاعٍ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ وَكَلَّمَ مَوَالِيَهُ أَنْ يُخَفِّفُوا عَنْهُ مِنْ ضَرِيبَتِهِ وَقَالَ أَمْثَلُ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ الْحِجَامَةُ وَالْقُسْطُ الْبَحْرِيُّ

English Translation

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Humayd, who said: Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) was asked about the earnings of the cupper. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had cupping done by Abu Taybah. He ordered that he be given a sa' of barley and spoke to his masters, and they reduced his tax.
