English Translation

Yahya narrated to us, from Humayd, from Thabit, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was being supported between his two sons. They said: 'He made a vow to walk.' He ﷺ said: 'Allah (عز وجل) is in no need of this man torturing himself.' And he ordered him to ride.
