حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ سَهْلِ أَبِي الْأَسَدِ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ الْجَزَرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كُنَّا فِي بَيْتِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْأَ
نْصَارِ فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى وَقَفَ فَأَخَذَ بِعِضَادَةِ الْبَابِ فَقَالَ الْأَئِمَّةُ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ وَلَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَقٌّ وَلَكُمْ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ مَا إِذَا اسْتُرْحِمُوا رَحِمُوا وَإِذَا حَكَمُوا عَدَلُوا وَإِذَا عَاهَدُوا وَفَّوْا فَمَنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Sahl Abu al-Asad, from Bukayr al-Jazari, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: We were in the house of a man from the Ansar when the Prophet ﷺ came and stood, holding the doorpost. With him were his wives, including Umm Sulaym and Umm Haram. He said: 'The Ansar are my inner circle and my trusted ones. They will decrease while people increase, so accept from their good-doers and overlook their wrong-doers.'
