English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Salim ibn Hayyan narrated to us, he said: I heard Marwan al-Asghar narrating from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) came from Yemen. the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'With what intention did you assume ihram?' He said: 'I assumed ihram with the same intention as the Prophet ﷺ.' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'I have a sacrificial animal with me, so I cannot exit ihram.' He said: 'I too have a sacrificial animal.' So he ordered him to remain in ihram.
