Zayd ibn Yahya al-Dimashqi narrated to us, Abu Mu'id narrated to us, Makhul narrated to us, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, when do we stop commanding good and forbidding evil?' He said: 'When what appeared among the nations before you appears among you: when the lowest of you has authority, when your young ones are immoral, and when knowledge is among your vile ones.'
