English Translation
Rawh ibn 'Ubadah narrated to us, Hajjaj ibn Hassan narrated to us, who said: We were with Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) and he called for a vessel that had three iron bands and an iron ring. It was brought out from a black case. It was smaller than a quarter but larger than a half-quarter. He ordered that water be brought in it, and we drank from it and poured water over our heads and faces, and we sent blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ — for it was the drinking vessel of the Prophet ﷺ.
