حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ أَعْطَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غَنَائِمِ حُنَيْنٍ عُيَيْنَةَ وَالْأَقْرَعَ وَغَيْرَهُمَا فَقَالَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ أَيُعْطِي غَنَائِمَنَا مَنْ تَقْطُرُ سُيُوفُنَا مِنْ دِمَائِهِمْ أَوْ تَقْطُرُ دِمَاؤُهُمْ مِنْ سُيُوفِنَا فَبَلَغَ ذَل
ِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَعَا الْأَنْصَارَ فَقَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ أَمَا تَرْضَوْنَ أَنْ يَذْهَبَ النَّاسُ بِالدُّنْيَا وَتَذْهَبُونَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ إِلَى دِيَارِكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ سَلَكَ النَّاسُ وَادِيًا وَسَلَكَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ شِعْبًا لَسَلَكْتُ شِعْبَ الْأَنْصَارِ الْأَنْصَارُ كَرِشِي وَعَيْبَتِي وَلَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
'Ubaydah ibn Humayd narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Prophet ﷺ gave from the spoils of Hunayn to 'Uyaynah, al-Aqra', and others. The Ansar said: 'He gives our spoils to those whose swords are still dripping with our blood?' the Prophet ﷺ gathered the Ansar and said: 'Would it not please you that the people go away with sheep and camels while you go away with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to your homes? If the people took one valley and the Ansar took another, I would take the valley of the Ansar.'
