Hadith #256

English Translation
Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah narrated to us, Humayd narrated to us, who said: Anas (رضي الله عنه) was asked: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ wear a ring?' He said: 'Yes. One night he delayed the late 'Isha prayer until close to midnight. When he prayed, he turned to face us and said: The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you have been in prayer as long as you have been waiting for it.' Anas said: It is as if I can see the gleam of his silver ring.
