English Translation
Bahz ibn Asad narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that Usayd ibn Hudayr and 'Abbad ibn Bishr (رضي الله عنهما) were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a very dark night. When they left, each of them had a light at the tip of his whip that illuminated the way before him. When they parted, each one had his own light until they reached their homes.
