English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated: the Prophet ﷺ mentioned the Dajjal and said: "He will come, but he will not be permitted to enter the mountain passes of Madinah. He will encamp at one of the barren tracts near Madinah, and there will come out to him on that day a man who is the best — or among the best — of people, and he will say: 'I testify that you are the Dajjal about whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told us.' The Dajjal will say: 'Do you think that if I kill this man then bring him back to life, you will have any doubt about the matter?' They will say: 'No.' So he will kill him then bring him back to life, and he [the man] will say: 'By Allah, I have never had more insight about you than I do now.' The Dajjal will want to kill him again but will not be able to."
