English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Humayd, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) saying: A man called out to another man in the marketplace: 'O Abu al-Qasim!' the Prophet ﷺ turned around. The man said: 'I only meant this person (not you).' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Name yourselves with my name, but do not use my kunyah (Abu al-Qasim).'
