حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأ
Body (Matn)
َى رَجُلًا يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً فَقَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ أَرْكَبُهَا قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man driving a sacrificial camel (badanah). He said: 'Ride it.' He said: 'It is a sacrificial camel.' He said: 'Ride it.' He said: 'Shall I ride it?' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Ride it, woe to you!' — on the second or third time.
