English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man driving a sacrificial camel (badanah). He said: 'Ride it.' He said: 'It is a sacrificial camel.' He said: 'Ride it.' He said: 'Shall I ride it?' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Ride it, woe to you!' — on the second or third time.
