حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَ

لَّمَ قَالَ لَا تُوَاصِلُوا قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِكُمْ إِنِّي أَبِيتُ أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى

English Translation
Anas (رضي الله عنه) narrated: the Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not practice wisal [continuous fasting]." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, you practice wisal." He said: "I am not like any one of you. I spend the night and my Lord feeds me and gives me to drink."
