حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ وَهُوَ الْمُزَنِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَمْرٌ فَجَعَلَ يَقْسِمُهُ بِمِكْتَلٍ وَاحِدٍ وَأَنَا رَسُولُهُ بِهِ حَتَّى فَرَغَ مِنْهُ قَالَ فَجَعَلَ يَأْكُلُ وَهُوَ مُقْعٍ أَكْلًا ذَرِيعًا فَعَرَفْتُ فِي أَكْلِهِ الْجُوعَ

English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated: Some dates were gifted to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he began distributing them by the basketful. I was his messenger to Abu Talhah, and I used to take from it and eat. the Prophet ﷺ would give me a portion and say: "Take it to Umm Sulaym." So I took it and ate some of it. When Abu Talhah came, Umm Sulaym gave it to him and he said: "Did the Prophet ﷺ give this to you in particular?" She said: "Yes."
