English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the best of people, the most generous of people, and the most courageous of people. One night the people of Madinah were alarmed by a sound. The people went out toward it, and the Prophet ﷺ met them coming back, having already gone ahead of them to investigate. He was riding an unsaddled horse of Abu Talhah and had a sword around his neck. He said: "Do not be afraid, do not be afraid." Then he said: "I found it [the horse] to be swift" — or: "It is indeed swift."
