حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ أُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ وَكَانَ بَيْنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ
سَلَّمَ وَبَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ شَيْءٌ فَجَعَلَ يَرُدُّ بَعْضُهُنَّ عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ احْثُ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِنَّ التُّرَابَ وَاخْرُجْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ

English Translation
Anas (رضي الله عنه) narrated: The iqamah was called and there was a matter between the Prophet ﷺ and his wives that needed settling. He was going back and forth between them. Abu Bakr came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, slap their cheeks!" — and he mentioned something. the Prophet ﷺ came out to pray.
