English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ was at al-Zawra' (a place in Madinah) when a vessel containing water was brought to him — the water barely covered his fingers. He ordered his Companions to perform wudu' from it, and they all performed wudu'. We said to Qatadah: 'How many were they?' He said: 'Three hundred, or approximately three hundred.'
