Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Ata' ibn Abi Maymunah, that he heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) say: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would enter the privy, a boy of my age and I would carry a small water vessel and a staff for him, and he would cleanse himself with the water.
