حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّ

هُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَا عَيْشَ إِلَّا عَيْشُ الْآخِرَهْ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَوْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ الْعَيْشَ عَيْشُ الْآخِرَهْ فَأَصْلِحْ الْأَنْصَارَ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ

English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'O Allah, there is no life except the life of the Hereafter.' Shu'bah said — or he said: 'O Allah, there is no life worth living except the life of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajirun.'
