English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Thabit, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) say: He used to describe the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for us, then he would stand and pray. When he raised his head from bowing, he would stand so long that one would say he has forgotten. Then when he prostrated and raised his head between the two prostrations, he would remain still so long that one would say he has forgotten.
