حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَ

الِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَتْفُلْ أَمَامَهُ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَكِنْ لِيَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ

English Translation

Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'When one of you is in the prayer, let him not spit in front of him nor to his right, but let him spit to his left or beneath his foot.'
