حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ أُكَيْدِرَ دُومَةَ أَهْدَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جُبَّةَ حَرِيرٍ و
َذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَرِيرِ فَلَبِسَهَا فَعَجِبَ النَّاسُ مِنْهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذِهِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه): Ukaydir of Dumah gifted the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a silk garment, and that was before the prohibition of silk. The people marveled at it and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what fine garment this is!' He ﷺ said, 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the handkerchiefs of Sa'd ibn Mu'adh in Paradise are better than this.'
