English Translation
Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq who said: Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir al-Taymi narrated to me, from Anas ibn Malik al-Ansari (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the Dhuhr prayer in his mosque, and when he gave the taslim, he stood facing us on the minbar and said: I am going before you, and I will be at the Hawd (Pool) before you. By Allah, I can see it now from this place of mine. I am not afraid that you will commit shirk after me, but I fear for you that you will compete with one another for the worldly life.' Anas said: 'That was the last time I looked at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'
