English Translation

Hasan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Rabi'ah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No servant is afflicted by Allah (عز وجل) with an affliction in his body except that Allah (عز وجل) says to the angel: Write for My servant the equivalent of what he used to do when he was healthy, for as long as he is restrained by what I have afflicted him with.'
