حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ كُ

نَّا نَأْتِي أَنَسًا وَخَبَّازُهُ قَائِمٌ قَالَ فَقَالَ يَوْمًا كُلُوا فَوَاللَّهِ مَا أَعْلَمُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَغِيفًا رَقِيقًا وَلَا شَاةً سَمِيطًا حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِرَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us who said: 'We used to visit Anas (رضي الله عنه) while his baker was standing by. He said one day: Eat, for by Allah, I do not know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ever saw a thin loaf of bread or a whole roasted sheep until he met Allah (عز وجل).'
