حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَ
مْزَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي الزُّهْرِيَّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ رَأَى فِي أُصْبُعِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا ثُمَّ إِنَّ النَّاسَ اضْطَرَبُوا خَوَاتِمَ مِنْ وَرِقٍ فَلَبِسُوهَا فَطَرَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمَهُ فَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ
Isnad Chain
بشر بن شعيب بن أبي ح
English Translation
Bishr ibn Shu'ayb ibn Abi Hamzah narrated to us, he said my father informed me, he said Muhammad — meaning az-Zuhri — informed me: Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) told me that he saw a silver ring on the finger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for one day. The people then made rings. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ threw away his ring, and the people threw away theirs.
