English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, and he mentioned a hadith. He said: And I — 'Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Bakr — from Anas (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'This son of Adam — and he pointed to his throat — meaning the two arteries. He ages and two things remain young in him: his greed for life and his greed for wealth.'
